Overview
ReceiptKit helps businesses design and print receipts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect account information (such as name, email, and organization details), service usage data (such as print job metadata, bridge health telemetry, and browser print events), and support communications. We do not store payment card numbers in ReceiptKit.
Plugins and Client-Side Components
Our plugins and apps (for example ReceiptKit for WooCommerce) send the order data needed to print a receipt to ReceiptKit when you use automatic printing. When you print from your browser instead, the receipt is rendered on your own computer: the page loads a ReceiptKit renderer script and the font files your template uses from receiptkit.io, which involves the ordinary web request data (such as IP address and browser type) but no order contents. After a browser print, the plugin sends a small usage event containing the template identifier, the order identifier, and the plugin as the source, so your dashboard can show printing activity. Browser prints are not counted against plan limits.
How We Use Information
We use data to provide and improve the service, secure accounts and infrastructure, process billing, and provide support. We may use aggregated or de-identified data for product analytics and reliability improvements.
Data Sharing
We share data only with vendors needed to operate ReceiptKit (for example cloud hosting, authentication, and analytics providers), subject to contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No system can be 100% secure, but we continuously work to reduce risk.
Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
Your Choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Some requests may be subject to legal or security exceptions.
