How Orderable prints receipts
Orderable ships receipt printing: a Print icon on the Orders screen and the Live Order View that opens a print-friendly page and your browser's print dialog, with layouts you build in the block editor. It's a good manual receipt.
What it isn't is automatic. Orderable's own documentation says the feature "doesn't include remote printing" and that the printer needs to be in the same place as the device running Orderable. Someone has to be at a screen, see the order, and click. In a busy kitchen that's the step that gets missed.
Nothing about Orderable changes
Orderable orders are ordinary WooCommerce orders. ReceiptKit for WooCommerce recognises Orderable and reads the service type, requested date and time slot, location, table number and tip straight from the order. Keep your menu, checkout and Live Order View exactly as they are.
A rule, a bridge, and a printer that just prints
When an Orderable order is paid, a ReceiptKit rule sends it to the free bridge app on your restaurant's network. The bridge renders the ticket natively for your printer and it's on paper in under a second — no PDF, no dialog, no one clicking. Browser printing from the order screen is there too, free, for the counter.
Add a second rule to print a customer copy at the counter on the same order, or route delivery tickets to the pass and table orders to the bar by service type.

Orderable's documentation describes automatic printing through BizPrint's Print Manager plugin and a free Orderable template extension. The shape is similar: a plugin, a cloud service and an app next to the printer. These are the differences that matter in a restaurant.

Five steps, about an hour
- 1Create a free ReceiptKit account and install the free bridge app on any Windows PC, Mac or Raspberry Pi on the printer's network. Add your printer and run a test print.
- 2In WordPress, install ReceiptKit for WooCommerce from the WordPress.org directory and connect it with your public API key. You'll see "Orderable detected" on the settings page.
- 3Add the Orderable templates from the ReceiptKit gallery: Kitchen Ticket, Delivery Driver Ticket, Packing Slip and Order Confirmation.
- 4Add a rule from an Orderable recipe (kitchen ticket, delivery ticket, pickup ticket, table ticket or customer receipt), pick the printer and template, and click Test print.
- 5Place a test order through your Orderable menu, mark it paid, and watch the ticket print. Enable the rule. Keep using Orderable's Live Order View exactly as before.

Common questions
Does Orderable print receipts automatically?
Not by itself. Orderable's receipt printing is a Print button on the Orders screen and the Live Order View that opens your browser's print dialog, and Orderable's documentation notes it doesn't include remote printing: the printer has to be next to the device you're using. ReceiptKit for WooCommerce adds the automatic part: a rule fires when the order is paid and the ticket prints on a kitchen or counter printer with nobody at a screen.

How is this different from BizPrint with Orderable?
Both use a WordPress plugin, a cloud service and an app beside the printer. BizPrint builds the document inside your WordPress request and prints through the operating system's printer driver; its templates are PHP code, and its plans are a monthly fee plus a per-print charge after a 25-print trial. ReceiptKit renders natively for Star and ESC/POS printers on a bridge in your restaurant, so prints are sub-second and checkout never waits; templates are edited visually; and the free tier includes 500 prints a month.
Which printers work?
Star Micronics (mC-Print3, TSP100/TSP143 and others), Epson TM series, and most ESC/POS-compatible printers including Rongta and Munbyn, connected over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or USB. Those are the same printers Orderable's own kitchen-printer guide recommends.
Can different orders print on different printers?
Yes. Each rule targets one printer and can be filtered by Orderable service type, so delivery tickets go to the pass, table orders go to the bar, and every order also prints a kitchen ticket. Orderable Pro multi-location stores can route each location's orders to that location's printer.
What does it cost?
